Kakegawa Omatsuri
Kakegawa’s traditional festival is held every October.
Beautifully decorated floats accompanied by drum beats change the atmosphere of the city during this festival.
During the Kakegawa Omatsuri, which is held once every three years, you can see three special shows including the shishimai (lion dance) with the biggest shishimai in Japan.
You are lucky if you are able to see this.
