Walking Trail with View of Japanese Castle and Lilies
To the Kakegawa Castle, start at the north gate of the Kakegawa Station and walk for a while – you won’t get lost. That’s because a street lies straight from the station and the “Japanese” castle comes right into your sight.
You walk over a bridge just before the Castle.

The scenery of 33000 bulbs of 40 lilies fully blooming is one of the best scenes in Kakegawa. A castle town with a historic castle as a main symbol – the colorful scenery with the Castle as a background welcomes those who like plants and flowers and even others who visit Kakegawa only for the Castle as a tourist site.
