BAR MONKEY (Fukuroi Bar)

I am an adult after all, so I ordered a glass of brandy from the barkeeper. There are non-alcoholic cocktails using rose syrup, apple juice, and lemon, too. A cute rabbit made from an apple is on the glass. The ornaments and monkey figures in the bar are presents from the customers. The bartender takes care to break the ice with a pick and put it in my glass. When I hold the glass, the ice cube makes a pleasant sound. It was like I could see the universe in the glass. He named the bar MONKEY because he has been called monkey ever since he was a little boy. "I thought a cool English name would be good too, but the friends of mine said MONKEY would do, so there you have it." I talk to one of the customers in the counter seats about a video game that he likes. Grown ups drink, eat nuts, and talk about their favorite video games. Doesn't the night of Fukuroi sound fun?

Everybody likes the bartender who runs this place. He is open minded and easy to talk to. I recommend this place even for those who don't usually go to bars or drink cocktails.
